Many people compare us to a family at Xtreme.  We want to put a “shout out” to our Alumni that went

on to share their gifts of music, theatre, dance and the Arts in general.  We’re so proud of you and are

Winner of the 2015 Scholarship for Music from the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Arts Council.  The scholarship is worth $1000 and is offered to one graduating student from each of the fine arts: literature, dance, music, theatre, and visual arts (5 scholarships in total).

Nicholas Bradbury

Graduate of the Musical Theatre Program at Capilano University.  Winner of the 2015 E.V. Young Award for Most Outstanding Performer – TUTS.  Winner of Outstanding Production for Small Theatre at the 2015 Ovation Awards (Cast). Sarah Goerzen

Director/Choreographer at Lighthouse Theatre Productions – Taught in Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Stage, Modern, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Pointe. Took the Royal Academy of Dance ballet exams from Grade one – Advanced one.

Nicole Farion

Director/Vocal Coach at Lighthouse Theatre Productions – Royal Conservatory of Voice exams up to Grade 8 and plans to continue training up to her ARCT.  Nicole teaches voice lessons for aspiring singers.

Kimberly Dyer

Graduate of the Dance Performance Studies program at George Brown College in Toronto, which also includes classes in singing and acting.  Kimberly won the 2014 Scholarship for Dance from the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Arts Council. Linnea Holm

Teacher/Choreographer at Xtreme Theatre.  Linnea has been a vocal performer for over 15 years. She is trained in jazz, classical, and musical theatre, to name a few genres. In 2004, Linnea won the Ray McAuley Horizon Award for the best Upcoming Star with the country trio, Saving Grace. She has been singing with the Bruce James Orchestra since 2010.  Linnea has taught theatre in the community as well as performed in various musical theatre productions.

Nicole Willemsen

A Voice Performance Major at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Langley, BC.  Nicole has completed her grade 10 voice level through the Royal Conservatory of Music and is enrolled in KPU’s Bachelor of Music in Musical Arts degree.  Nicole is a classically trained soprano and is currently in the third year of her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance at the University of British Columbia.

Jianna Ballard

Starred on the small screen on ‘Christy, Choices of the Heart: Part 2’ in 2001, then progressed on to a bigger TV role in John Doe in 2002. She broke out onto the big screen in 2003, with the box office hit, Scary Movie 3. In 2004 she supported in “The Toothfairy”. After that she settled down and worked mainly on the radio and in plays. With voice overs she has done a brats movie as well as many commercials on the radio.  Jianna is currently teaching at Lindjberg Academy.

Joel Ballard

Known for Spectacular! (2009), Rags: The Movie (2012) and Roadies (2015).  Studied at Studio 58.  Competitor on Triple Sensation – a reality television series produced by multi-Tony Award winning producer Garth Drabinsky.   Its first season debuted October 7, 2007 on CBC Television, and its second season debuted June 22, 2009. Has performed in too-many-too-mention musical theatre productions in BC and beyond.
