The Mini group at Xtreme Theatre is for homeschool children ages 5-7 who are beginners. In this group, the students are introduced to the world of musical theatre by learning a handful of show songs with some actions/movement choreography. What they learn is then incorporated into the Junior production that performs at the Terry Fox Theatre in Port Coquitlam.
Due to the production element of this course, each child is required to commit to minimal absences and be present for ALL technical rehearsals and performances.
The Junior group at Xtreme Theatre consists of homeschool children ages 8-13. In this group, the students create and perform a musical theatre production that is typically 50 mins - 1 hour.
Most of the students audition if they would like to be considered for a role in the production, however, those children who prefer to participate as part of the ensemble, need not audition.
The year-end production is performed at the Terry Fox Theatre in Port Coquitlam. Due to the scale of the production, this course requires that each child commit to minimal absences and be present for ALL technical rehearsals and performances.

The Senior group at Xtreme Theatre consists of homeschool children ages 13-18. In this group, the students are directed and choreographed into a full-scale musical theatre production that is typically 1.5 hours long.
Most of the students audition if they would like to be considered for a role in the production, however, those children who prefer to participate as part of the ensemble, need not audition.
The year-end production is presented at the Terry Fox Theatre in Port Coquitlam. Due to the scale of the production, this course requires that each child commit to minimal absences and be present for ALL technical rehearsals and performances.
