Our Minis group at Xtreme Theatre is for homeschool children ages 5-7 who are beginners. In this group, the students are introduced to the world of musical theatre by learning a handful of show songs with some actions/movement choreography. What they learn is then incorporated into the Junior production that performs at the Terry Fox Theatre in Port Coquitlam.
Due to the production element of this course, each child is required to commit to minimal absences and be present for ALL technical rehearsals and performances.
Our Juniors group at Xtreme Theatre consists of homeschool children ages 8-13. In this group, the students create and perform a musical theatre production that is typically 50 mins - 1 hour.

Students will have the opportunity to audition at the beginning of the year (for bigger roles as well as for the ensemble).
​
The year-end production is performed at the Terry Fox Theatre in Port Coquitlam. Due to the scale of the production, this course requires that each child commit to minimal absences and be present for ALL technical rehearsals and performances.

Our Seniors group at Xtreme Theatre consists of homeschool children ages 13-18. In this group, the students are directed and choreographed into a full-scale musical theatre production that is typically 1.5 hours long.

Students will have the opportunity to audition at the beginning of the year (for bigger roles as well as for the ensemble).

The year-end production is presented at the Terry Fox Theatre in Port Coquitlam. Due to the scale of the production, this course requires that each child commit to minimal absences and be present for ALL technical rehearsals and performances.
