Our Seniors Production Class is an advanced program for homeschooled students ages 13–18 (birth years 2009–2013). Students are directed and choreographed in an age-appropriate one-hour “Jr.” musical theatre production, with class-wide auditions held at the start of the year for speaking/solo-singing roles as well as the ensemble. Every student is cast in the production, whether in a named role or as part of the ensemble (sometimes both!). Applicants should be comfortable singing, dancing, acting, and performing on stage, and be willing to work hard as a team to grow in areas where they have less experience. Outside training in dance, voice, or acting is not required, but is an asset.

The year-end production is performed at the Terry Fox Theatre in Port Coquitlam, usually in early to mid April. Due to the scale of the production, each student is required to commit to no more than 3 planned absences throughout the season of September–April and must be present for ALL technical rehearsals and performances. All families with students in production classes are expected to serve on a volunteer committee throughout the year and during theatre week.
